Soil Investigation and Testing
Soil Investigation is a procedure that determines the stratigraphy (study of rocks) and relevant physical properties of the soil underlying the site. This is done to ensure that this substructure, which is eventually going to hold up homes, is safe and enduring.
Building Material Testing
Building Materials Testing is the testing of materials used to build new projects, add to existing projects, or amend existing construction projects. Testing of materials includes cement, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, water, fly ash, brick etc.
Highway Material Testing
Highway material testing is the quality testing of the materials that are used in highway construction. Both Field tests and Laboratory tests are conducted to determine different parameter of the materials with respect to strength, durability, toughness, hardness etc.
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
Non-destructive testing (NDT) or partial destructive testing is the process of inspecting, testing, or evaluating materials, components or assemblies for discontinuities, or differences in characteristics without destroying the serviceability of the part or system.
Concrete mix ratios are the proportions of concrete components such as cement, sand, aggregates and water. These mix ratios are decided based on type of construction and mix designs. Mix designs for different varieties of concrete can be formulated.
Pile Integrity Test
Pile Integrity Test refers to qualitative evaluation of the physical dimensions, continuity of a pile, and consistency of the pile material. Several methods have been developed over the past few decades in order to evaluate the integrity and parameters of piles.
Load testing was carried out to assess the flexural capacity of the superstructure at working load in the elastic range, through measuring the vertical deflections of the superstructure. The objective of the load test was to monitor the global behavior of the structure.
